How to get the lowest prices
If you’re looking to keep costs down, check for hotels with special offers, e.g. free nights, but ensure your arrival day applies. Try to avoid Eurotunnel or Ferry travel before 2pm from the UK and if you can, return before 1pm from the continent. If travelling with Eurostar, be aware that ticket prices can rise as trains fill, so book as early as possible and if you can be flexible with journey times that can help us find you better value seats.
Le Touquet was originally discovered by British High Society in the 1920s – unsurprisingly they were attracted by its beautiful sandy beaches, golf courses, casino and opulent hotels.read more
Today Le Touquet still boasts all of those attractions and much more. It offers a wide variety of sporting activities such as golf, sand-yachting, horse riding and cycling. A relaxing way to keep fit is Thalassotherapy and the beachfront institute at Le Touquet is one of the most modern centres you will find.
If you just prefer to walk, you can stroll around friendly streets which have a unique style of architecture, stop for a posh coffee or maybe a hot chocolate at one of the new inviting chocolate shops which have the most mind-blowing hand-made chocolates you are likely to see.
Eating in Le Touquet is a real pleasure - there are plenty of crêperies, snack bars and restaurants and if some night life is on your agenda, Le Touquet has the magnificent Casino Barriére which has its own brasserie and bar, or you can dance the night away at one of the many clubs in town.
Shopping in Le Touquet is really interesting - lots of chic boutiques, china, wine and cheese, bakeries with mouth-watering cakes, and a truly enormous street market three times a week (in High Season) which will take all morning to explore. Hide extra info
